Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Neat version, and the steps that led to the issue. Do not send real client photos or personal data.

Getting started

  1. Add a property and list its rooms.
  2. Start a visit and open each room.
  3. Add the main Before/After photos and up to two supporting photos per stage.
  4. Complete the checklist or mark the room Not completed and explain why.
  5. Review missing details and generate the PDF report.
  6. Share the PDF using the iOS share sheet.

Reports and the one-time purchase

The first three distinct visits that generate a report are free. Revising a report for the same visit does not use another free report. After the third distinct visit, a one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited future report generation.

To restore a purchase, open Settings in Neat and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Existing reports, PDF export, and backups remain available regardless of purchase status.

Backup and restore

Open Backups from the Visits screen. Export creates a ZIP file through the iOS Files picker. Restore accepts a ZIP originally exported by Neat and merges missing records; it does not overwrite newer records. Keep a copy outside your iPhone if the records matter to you.

Camera and photos

If camera or photo access was denied, open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security and enable access for Neat. You can import existing photos or take new photos from the corresponding photo controls.

Deleting data

Delete records inside Neat where available. Properties that already have reports cannot be deleted, which keeps report history attached to the correct property. Removing Neat deletes its local app container; exported PDFs and backup files must be deleted separately from wherever you saved them.

Privacy

Neat does not create an account, upload client records automatically, request location access, or include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Read the full Privacy Policy.
