Neat Privacy Policy

Summary

Neat is an offline-first cleaning handoff tool. The developer does not operate a server for customer records, does not require an account, and does not receive the property details, client names, photos, visits, reports, or backups created in the app.

Information stored on your device

You may enter or create property names and addresses or references; client names; room checklists, visit notes, statuses, and issue descriptions; before-and-after and supporting photos; generated PDF reports and report history; brand, cleaner name, optional logo, and backup files you choose to save.

This information is stored locally in the app container unless you explicitly export or share it.

Camera and photo library

Neat requests camera access only when you choose to take a job photo. It requests photo-library access only when you choose photos to import. Photos are used to create your local visit record and client report. Neat does not upload photos automatically.

Sharing and backups

Reports leave Neat only through the iOS share sheet when you choose that action. Backup ZIP files leave the app only through the system Files picker when you choose a destination. You are responsible for the recipients and storage locations you select.

Purchases

Neat uses Apple's StoreKit for the optional one-time unlimited-reports purchase. Apple processes payment and purchase restoration. Neat receives the verified entitlement status from StoreKit; the developer does not receive your payment-card details.

Collection, tracking, advertising, and analytics

Neat does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or a developer-operated account system. The app does not track you across apps or websites. The current app privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking.

This website

This website describes Neat and provides support information. It does not include advertising or analytics scripts. The site is hosted using Tencent CloudBase; the hosting provider may process necessary network information such as IP address, request time, and requested path to deliver and secure the pages. This is separate from the data stored by the Neat iOS app.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them in Neat or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its local app container, subject to iOS behavior and any device backup you maintain. Exported PDFs and backup ZIP files are controlled by you and must be deleted from their chosen locations separately.

Children

Neat is a business tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated before the revised policy is published.
